Sault Ste Marie officially has a proper concrete skatepark! (Well...not officially yet, since it's still technically "under construction" while the grass and landscaping surrounding the park is finished).

It's tight to see everyone showing up every single day to rip, and as always, it's a pleasure to document said ripping through photography.

Hit up the Skate '09 set or just check my Flickr photostream and browse the snaps taken at the new park--dudes are killing it.

Met up with a few people from the Sault Photography forums so shoot the shit/nerd out on camera gear.

It's great to meet people so knowledgeable and willing to share. Bringing myself out to these little meets always reminds me that I need to start taking more photos. Not just when I have a job, but in general.

Which reminds me, I have a bit of a project on the go. I'm literally just starting, and it's nothing tooooo exciting, just more of an excuse to get me to use my camera.

I fried one of my flashes that night, but it was still a good time. Guys (and a few girls) ripped it up, a few photos turned out....what more can you ask for, eh?
